Welcome To The Sacramento Valley Boxer Club!
The Sacramento Valley Boxer Club (SVBC) was started before 1985 with a small group of boxer lovers meeting monthly in each others living rooms. It took several years to hold our first sanctioned matches and with a great deal of work and pride, we finally held our first AKC point specialty show in conjunction with the 1995 American Boxer Club Regional in Pleasanton, California.
SVBC encourages adherence to the definition of the true Boxer breed as established in the Standard adopted by the American Boxer Club and approved by the American Kennel Club.
SVBC conducts sanctioned and licensed specialty shows under the rules of the American Kennel Club and initiate fun, educational programs and promotional activities which will help educate the public.
Currently, the SVBC holds two Specialty Shows, Sweepstakes & Obedience Trial each April and
October. In Fall/Summer we hold an AKC Sanctioned B/OB match.

Eligibility for Membership:
1. Own or Co-Own an AKC registered Purebred Boxer
2. All applicants within a 100 mile radius must attend 2 SVBC General Membership meetings, both of which must be attended within 6 months prior to application submittal. Your application will be submitted to the Board for approval and voted on at the next General Membership meeting. Applicants outside the 100 mile radius will be voted on at the General meeting following Board approval.
3. Complete your application and return it with a check (payable to SVBC), with a copy of your AKC Registration to the Club Secretary.
4. Two (2) SVBC Club Members in good standing must sponsor all new applicants. The sponsors must be from different families. |

2012 —Sacramento Valley Boxer Club Membership Meeting Dates:
SVBC Membership Meetings take place the third Thursday of every month.
Jan 19th, Feb 16th, March 15th, April19th, May 17th, June 21st, July 19th, Aug 16th, Sept 20th, Oct 18th, Nov15th.
No Membership Meetings in December.
General Membership Meetings are held at 7:00 PM in the Conference Room of the SMUD Building. 6201 S Street, Sacramento, CA.
Visitors are welcome to attend our meetings and events! Please note: Dogs are not allowed in the SMUD Building.
